SAF implemented WASH projects in eight locations in Hagar and Afmadow districts in lower Juba supported by UN-OCHA for the second standard allocation in 2013.

This integrated life saving and durable interventions in water supply, sanitation, and hygiene promotion for disaster affected population in rural Hagar and Afmadow districts of lower Juba in South central Somalia were implemented in Diif, Godaya, Galgaso, Hararoba, Hilashid, Ishawarta, Garase and Anatel Afmadow.

The project improved access to safe water supply, sanitation and hygiene services and improved life and health of 11,400 vulnerable Men, women, girls and boys in the rural villages in Hagar and Afmadow districts in Lower Juba region in South Somalia.
